Pour the water into blender and scoop out the 'meat' with a spoon. Add in the cut papaya and bananas. Blend well until smooth. Add a little cold water if needed. They are wonderful ingredients to add to some of the raw recipes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A delightful smoothie:&lt;br /&gt;1 banana&lt;br /&gt;1 date&lt;br /&gt;3 figs&lt;br /&gt;enough water.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Blend everything. Makes a sweet drink for those with a sweet tooth.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Raw ice cream:&lt;br /&gt;Frozen bananas (2-3 ripe ones, peeled and stored in bags)&lt;br /&gt;A little bit of water&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Blend and you get an amazing consistency that is similar to ice cream. Everyone loves this. You can also add raw carob powder if you like to make 'chocolate ice cream'&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Another ice cream idea, actually more like a popsicle:&lt;br /&gt;Mangoes as many as you like&lt;br /&gt;Blend with water&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Pour the blend into popsicle cases and freeze! Voila! We have been programmed to relate certain smells to certain foods and then we start salivating! So, sometimes I start to feel hungry when I am around cooked food. On the flip side, I sometimes feel quite nauseated when the smell hits me, mostly is because of the smell of cooked oil.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyway, things are still going well. I didn't try any new recipes as planned for the weekend. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;But yesterday, I made another pate (I find this the easiest and most convenient!) with cashew buts, carrots, spinach, tomatoes and 2 small chillies with salt and olive oil. Pretty good I must said. I cut up pieces of cucumber and ate the pate like a dip. It was a bit of a challenge. But I managed to find salads, and I removed the cheese and eggs from it and was left with lettuce. Obviously it didn't fill me so I bought bananas from the supermarket for lunch, munched on some buts as well. Drain. Place in food processor until fine. Add onion. &lt;br /&gt;Followed by tomato, carrot and the rest of the ingredients and process into a nice pate. type='text'>meals</title><content type='html'>as it turns out this is what i had to eat so far:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;breakfast:&lt;br /&gt;an apple&lt;br /&gt;2 bananas, 2 tablespoon of raw tahini, water blended into a smoothie. this is the yummiest!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;lunch out:&lt;br /&gt;a slice of pineapple, mango and papaya&lt;br /&gt;a glass avocado smoothie, unfortunately they added sugar in this so i really couldn't drink it. It was quite toxic!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;so came home, use the almonds which i was soaking in water since this morning and made a nice almond pate roll!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1 and half cups of raw almonds, soaked in water. Blended with a pinch of salt and a dash of olive oil (1st coldpressed so that it is as raw as can be. I added water as well to make it into a smooth pate. and then i used 2 sheets of seaweed (unfortunately not raw, it is toasted) and made 2 almond sushi rolls. However, i think I made some mistakes eg I didn't eat enough so this is one of the reasons why I stopped. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I researched later and found out that for a raw vegan diet to work, one needs to actually eat many times a day. A breakfast may consist of 2-3 fruit/veg drinks with one hour intervals. Or it may consist of a raw nut (soaked) pate and so on. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyway, I have come to a point in my personal growth and development where I feel a raw vegan diet, if not 100% at least 80-90% would be highly beneficial to me physically as well as spiritually.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So i am going to be as raw as I can for the next 21 days. I've prepared for this in the past few weeks with raw breakfasts and dinners as much as I can.
